For those who take politics seriously

People who vote in elections can be divided into these 3 groups:
The people in this group usually call themselves liberal. The people who are in leadership positions in this group are not the liberals that your dictionary talks about. The leaders of this group are working hard to increase our dependancy on government and government control of our lives. They are mostly a mixture of Democrats and Socialists. Most of the people who are running the news divions of NBC, CBS, ABC and CNN belong to this group, and they make sure that the news you see on TV will not conflict with this way of thinking. Most of the special interest groups flock here, since this gives them their best chance of gaining power through government action. The people in this group usually vote for the Democrat candidate. They like the socialist agenda, but only as long as it is called something else.

The middle third are those where all the election campaigning is aimed. These are the people who have trouble discriminating between two choices, when those two choices are almost opposite in political orientation. They are often called "swing voters". These are the people who, when asked what kind of society they want to live in, don't have a sensible answer. Usually, they don't even understand the question. They have been educated in our public school system, so they don't know what kind of a nation we are supposed to be, and what kind of government we are supposed to have. Their political ideas consist mostly of a set of sound bites that they have picked up from TV. There is no predicting who these people will vote for, since their political thinking has not matured.

These people are usually called Conservatives. I am a conservative, and I endorse web pages and news sources that tell the truth:

WorldNetDaily Patriot Post
Newsmax.com NRA News
Matt Drudge report Fox News

Most of the people in this group are those who have read the Declaration of Independance and our Constitution. These are the people who want to live in a free society. They believe that governments get their power from the people, and that government's power is limited by the people. These people are mostly Republicans, with a few Democrats and Libertarians. They usually vote for the Republican candidate, since we don't have a true Conservative party.

We need a Conservative political party!
