Millipedes in Colorado

Millipedes are the Class Diplopoda, part of the Phylum Arthropoda. A Millipede has two pair of legs per body segment, whereas the similar Centipede has one pair of legs per body segment. According to Wikipedia, there are about 10,000 species in 13 orders and 115 families.
This Millipede was found on 27 September 2009 in Colorado Springs, CO. Further identification has not been made yet.

Another Millipede, maybe the same species as above. Found in my garage on 1 March 2010 at a temperature of about 40 degrees F.
