Some photos of a Whitail doe and two fawns at the Fountain Creek Nature Center, Fountain, Colorado on 23 July 2009.
On 27 August 2009, the doe and her fawns were fairly tolerant of me taking their pictures, and I was able to get surprisingly close.
On 29 August 2009, the doe and her fawns were seen again, in the same place.
On 26 September 2009, I think that these are the same two fawns that have been at the Fountain Creek Nature Center all summer. Now, they are just about full grown, and have lost their baby spots.
Fountain Creek Nature Center, 8 November 2009. This Whitetail buck had a harem of about 5 does, so he kept a close watch on me as I walked past. The does left the guard duty to him.
